Klondike Dreams doesn't just take you on a dog sled ride, we give you a hands-on, educational dog sledding experience.
We offer a combination kennel tour and dog sled ride. First you tour the kennel and meet the dogs. Next, it's as hands on as you want it to be. Help walk, handle, and harness the dogs. Then we take you on a 1.5 mile ride where you sit in the sled. After you go for a ride, we teach you to drive a racing sled. If you pass all the tests, you may be given the opportunity to drive a race team.
Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center
An exciting and fun family adventure is waiting for you. Watch the grizzlies engage in an array of activities in their spectacular habitat, complete with trout stocked pond. Observe the wolf packs and increase your understanding of the carnivore with exceptional views of the wolf pack with floor to ceiling windows. From May to November view several raptors that can no longer survive in the wild. The Discovery Center's mission is to provide visitors with a unique opportunity to learn about and observe the grizzly bear and the grey wolf.
